Africa New Explorers was founded in 2022 by Blanche Dubois, born not from a business plan but from a lifelong connection to Africa’s wild places. Raised in Normandy in a family of horse riders, Blanche grew up immersed in animals, travel and the discipline of reading landscapes instinctively.
More than 25 years ago, Africa became a revelation — what began as fascination evolved into deep understanding. Over time, the vastness, wildlife and quiet intelligence of the bush reshaped her perspective entirely.
Africa New Explorers was created to share that transformation thoughtfully, responsibly and without compromise.
We believe Africa is not a checklist, nor a spectacle to be consumed. True safari is about peace, space, timing and interpretation — knowing when to linger, when to move on, and how to avoid the crowds.
We favour intimate lodges, exceptional guiding and carefully chosen routes that privilege authenticity over excess. Conservation is foundational to everything we do, and every journey begins with conversation, ensuring each itinerary reflects the traveller as much as the destination.
