As you round the bend of a village, men are playing on a stone warmed by the sun. Further on, a horseman crosses the plateaus, wrapped in his blanket just like his ancestors before him. Children climb the steep paths with an ease that would make our certainties pale in comparison.
Lesotho has nothing to prove to the world. It cherishes what so many places have lost: time, simplicity and authenticity.
Perhaps that is what travelling is all about.
